Fast X (May 15)
Fast and Furious X is the tenth film in the Fast and Furious franchise, the first part of the finale of the two-part saga. Dominic “Dom” Torreto, played by Vin Diesel, who recently said the latest films could form a trilogy, is gaining momentum with a cast that includes Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges and John Sina. In this film, the group confronts antagonist Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes, who wants revenge for the death of his father from the 2011 film “Fast and Furious 5.”
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (June 2)
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is the long-awaited sequel to 2018’s acclaimed Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Featuring a unique style of comic book and computer animation, the Spider-Verse films center on Miles Morales (voiced by Shameik Moore), a black and Puerto Rican teenager who is bitten by a radioactive spider. In the second film, which will be the first of two parts, Morales will encounter a group of Spider-World spider men, some of whom are voiced by actors such as Issa Rae, Oscar Isaac, Daniel Kaluya, Hailee Steinfeld and Brian Tyree Henry.
The Little Mermaid (May 26)
The ocean is full of wonders, and one of them is Halle Bailey. One half of the sister duo Chloe x Halle, Bailey plays the role of everyone’s favorite red-haired mermaid Ariel in the 1989 remake of the classic Disney film. Joining her in the film are Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Javier Bardem as King Triton, David Diggs as Sebastian and Aquafina as Scuttle.
Elemental (June 16)
The focus of this appealing opposites film is the inhabitants of Element City, a metropolis inhabited by humanoids composed of the four elements (earth, air, fire, and water). They all follow the same rule: The elements cannot mix. Amber (Leah Lewis), made of fire, and Wade (Mamudou Atier), a water dweller, meet by chance and teach each other that the rules must be broken.
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (June 30)
Harrison Ford puts on his fedora for the last time and picks up his whip as Indiana Jones. In Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, the final installment of the beloved franchise, everyone’s favorite archaeology professor decides to go on one last expedition with his goddaughter Helena Shaw (Phoebe Waller-Bridge). They go in search of a rare artifact – the Archimedean Dial – and end up running into the ubiquitous villain Jurgen Waller (Mads Mikkelsen).
